The malian food is great they serve it in two parts one is a sauce and the other is a dough kind of stuff and its made from flour or corn or a couple of other things i dont really know what it is and you take a rip off the dough and dip it in the sauce its good they make the sauce out of a number of things but one i like is the melon soup the use crushed water melon seeds pistachios crushed and some spices it its moderately spicy its really good. ill have to learn how to make it and make it for everyone.

Oh yeah you will! That sounds good. I like the weird food people in other countries come up with. If it's true that "necessity is the mother of invention" (or was that "repetition is the mother of retention", eh, who cares), then it's no big surprise that the poverty-stricken folks of Mali would come up with some tasty surprises. *mother looks in cupboards* "Well, all we have is some watermelon, pistachio nuts, and tabasco sauce. Oh, let's give it a shot."

Hi K, Here's one you can use for sure. This is one of Napolean's 'Guys only skills'. "Never walk with your hands in your pockets because if you have to perform an immediate spin move to avoid danger, you'll probably fall down and end up getting eaten alive." Always looking out for you, Greg

French for Cats phrase of the week: "Je n'attrape pas les Frisbees dans ma bouche" (Translation...I do not catch Frisbees in my mouth). Hope you are doing well, post some pics of some of the people in your congregation - we would like to see who your new friends are. Take care!

cats have too much dignity to catch frisbees in their mouths..........food: thats a different story !!!

Greg, i think the main reason Napoleon would get eaten alive if he fell down is because the ants would be after the " tots " that got smashed in his pocket when he fell...

Steve, I can't believe you're quoting from the Dynamite. Did you actually like the movie? If you answer yes, I guess I will have to build you a cake or something.

just thought I'd let you know that even though you are serving in Africa they still announced you as a reg pio in our hall. How's it feel to be serving in two places at once? You really are special.

Hi K,Hope all is going well. The other day ND had a 'Job Hunting Skill' that you might take note of as it may come in handy when you return. "Always bring food to your job interview. It shows that you can take care of yourself and that your not just there looking for a free lunch." I'm sure this will help. Take care, Greg

Hello my son! We are all so proud of you!!!!! "No greater cause for thankfulness do I have than these things, that I should be hearing that my children go on walking in the truth". (3 John verse 4) While it is true that we all miss you, this will be something that you will remember and be able to use the rest of your life! Yes, throughout all eternity! If at all possible, please post some more pictures for us. Maybe of your bible studies or the brothers and sisters in your congregation. "May Jehovah bless you and keep you. May Jehovah make his face shine toward you, and may he favor you. May Jehovah lift up his face toward you and assign peace to you". (Numbers 6:24-26) What an awesome privilege it is to serve our GREAT GOD JEHOVAH! Keep up the good work my son and remember that we all love you very much, but most importantly, Jehovah our God loves you and you are truly making his heart rejoice! How awesome is that? Take care and we will talk to you soon.
