So let me first give you some background im am currently meeting with the english group until i understand french to a little better degree. For our school and service meeting we as the english only have the student talks and the last few weeks ive been trying to pick up french pronunciation so i stay for the bible reading in french. but last week the brother assigned to give the 2 wasnt there so to give him more preparation the three and four talks were first which i didnt know until it all went down. So i missed all the english parts which was ok. But this tuesday i go into the back after the bible reading and listen to the three talk and then the brother doing the school says “brother wenzel has our four talk tonight” just from the look on my face he said “you didnt know” and i said no not at all im sorry and so we just listened to french. so apparently last tuesday he anounced it but i wasnt there and he forgot to give me a slip so it was a bit akward. i thought though hmmm how long have i been on the school? about 12 to 14 years somewhere in ther and that has never happened to me so it made me really appreciate the work that the school overseers in our hall do because they remind us probably about 4 or 5 times before we are supposed to give our talk. So thank you very much Greg i appreciate what you do. and for everyone else i hope you got a laugh or at least cracked a smile at the story. hopefully ill have more experiences to share with yall soon.

joke time....... the other day when i was crossing the street, the buzzer on the street light sounded to let blind people know it was safe to cross. the blond person with me asked if i knew what the buzzer was for so i explained that it lets blind people know when the light is red....he got all indignant and asked " why do they let blind people drive " ??

It is so nice to hear all that your doing over there. Your parents fill us in and let me and brit know what your doing. Did your mom get a chance to send you a picture of Josiah yet? Why does it seem that whenever you get in front of a computer you can't find anything to say but then when your away from it you think of all kinds of things to say. Sorry for the small talk. Take care.

K; the other day when i was "surfing the net" i came across this site where they ask people to input the kind of characteristics they thought would describe the best kind of leader.at the point when you had finished answering all of the profile questions, you would then let the computer tell you who your ideal leader would be based on the answers you gave. well just for the fun of it i decided to see what would happen if i filled out the profile and let the computer do it's thing. much to my surprise the computer came up with OPTIMUS PRIME of the Transformers as the one that fit my profile answers !!! now either the computer or my brain are really messed up, which one do you think ??.................

Heard that you got 4 Bible studies...exciting! = blessings for sticking with it despite malaria. Looking for a post in French from you soon and some more pics. Would be nice to see some more of the city and the countryside around there.

MORE FRENCH MORE FRENCH!! We will not allow others to dictate what language we want to write in. So to stick it to the man I shall write the following from my book French for Cats: "Je crois que je vais cracher une boule de poils! Attention, ca vient...Voila!" pppphhhhtttt!!

if you have different size tires on a car it can't run smoothly, neither can a conversation if everyone is speaking in a different language......

a recent survey showed that 11% of all 18-24 year olds in the United States could not find the USA on the map of the world. when one of the persons that could'nt find the USA was asked about this, he said " what difference does it make, i'm already here ".........

Conversation? Smoothly? Come on when does that ever happen. Ademas si tuvieramos las llantas apropiadas ni asi pudieramos conversar. Jajaja!

"Je ne cours pas apres les voitures" (translation for Steve:"I do not chase cars.") Studies show that learning a language decreases the likely hood of going senile - some food for thought. Voila!

"Your mother has a smooth forehead!" in Klingon: Hab SoSlI' Quch! (Note: this is a powerful insult; don't say it to friends.) Its very therapeutic to shout, try it!

Kaleb, you are like the first century Christians, speaking a different language in order to share with others the good news! Keep up the good work! "the multitude came together and were bewildered, because each one heard them speaking in his own language. 7 Indeed, they were astonished and began to wonder and say: “See here, all these who are speaking are Gal·i·le′ans, are they not? 8 And yet how is it we are hearing, each one of us, his own language in which we were born? 9 Par′thi·ans and Medes and E′lam·ites, and the inhabitants of Mes·o·po·ta′mi·a, and Ju·de′a and Cap·pa·do′ci·a, Pon′tus and the [district of] Asia, 10 and Phryg′i·a and Pam·phyl′i·a, Egypt and the parts of Lib′y·a, which is toward Cy·re′ne, and sojourners from Rome, both Jews and proselytes, 11 Cre′tans and Arabians, we hear them speaking in our tongues about the magnificent things of God.” Acts 2:6-10

Kaleb, I had no idea you went to Africa. Wow! I'm Tyson's Mom, maybe you remember meeting me at the Hall. Anyway, I am so impressed that you are making this journey . What an adventure! REally, it's so great to hear of young people like yourself who reach out and grab opportunities to use your youth for Jehovah. Now that I know where you are, I plan to keep watch of your experiences. It's very encouraging to us back here in Washington State to know the fine work you are doing. Jehovah will bless you in abundance for your efforts. The difficulties you may experience are just disguised opportunities to prove your faith, endurance and perseverence....and other fine godly qualities. You've opened a big door, and I know you'll make many fond memories and will gain valuable experience and maturty. Going through each door of service to Jah brings greater joy and continues to build for your future. Keep it up with a smile in your heart...you are certainly causing Jehovah to smile...and you are setting such a good example for other young people. So again, way to go!!! Linda Graaff

K, what you said about co kine, I think it's miss spelled. It should be Kokanee. Aren't you a little young for that? I didn't know they had that there and I can't imagine it will help you learn any foriegn languages. Para Susan, no intiendo bacan. Expiqueme por favor.

K-Its been very encouraging to think about you lately. To know that you are out there using your youth to the full. Just as Timothy did. How encouraging he was to the congregations of ancient times. Likewise you going to Africa to expand your ministry has warmed all of our hearts and encouraged us to keep panting on to the finish. Remember that your difficulties and trials are preparing you to be able to run with the horses just as Jeremiah. How wonderful you are to provide Jehovah with a response to satans taunting. We look forward to hearing of your encouraging experiences. How wonderful to see you praise Jah! May Jehovah continue to bless you and encourage you and guide you through now and on to the end.

I went back and read your "it's been awhile" blog where you went on a walking safari. I kinda had one of those the other day in NW territory. There was a pit bull running free and happy,(happy used losely)2 little kids standing in their yard, under dressed and it's cold, and a screamming mom. I don't need to go to Africa to see wild and crazy.
